The coursework takes a holistic and contemporary approach to real estate, drawing from the lessons of past cycles and current trends. Participants complete a total of five quarter-long courses, in addition to a two-day program, and can complete the program in as few as nine months.
The interactive and dynamic curriculum will provide participants with insights and skills regarding key factors and investment strategies driving real estate markets, and will incorporate case studies, opportunities to work on real-life projects, and feature world-renowned faculty and distinguished guest speakers from leading organizations in the real estate community.

Reconnect with fellow alumni and enjoy complimentary beverages and hors d'oeuvres while enjoying the stunning view from the 17th floor. You will also have an opportunity meet and greet current Merage School students from the classes of 2017 and 2018. Students will be traveling from Irvine as part of the Bay Area Trek, visiting local companies to learn about internship and full-time career opportunities. Space is limited for this complementary event, and due to building security restrictions you must RSVP no later than Dec. 7. This program will provide students an overview of how to analyze and finance a real estate investment.  

Learn essential Excel skill sets to prepare property cash flows and create dynamic and sophoisticated commerical real estate valuation models to analyze transactions on both an unlevered and levered basis.  

Students will:

Develop an advanced knowledge of real estate valuation concepts and apply them in Excel.

Build dynamic and easily auditable complex real estate financial models using the latest best practices in the real estate industry

Prepare advanced sensitivity and scenario analyses to evaluate commercial real estate investments

Utilize and learn sources for real estate market and economic data

Forecast and model property cash flows and underwrite commercial real estate transaction

Understand critical due diligence materials
